A word from Randy
I grew up here. Sherman High, class of 1983, and I have been building houses in this county since 1998.
What people thank me for is almost never the tile or the trim. It is that I picked up the phone. That when something was going to run over, they heard it from me in week six instead of finding it on an invoice in week twenty.
A home is the largest purchase most families ever make. I don't take that lightly. As someone who lives in the community I'm helping to build, I put all of my experience, expertise, and care into every build. I don't build 50 or 100 houses a year like the big cookie cutter companies do. I build 10 homes a year that provide a homestead for generations to come.

Every county builds its own way. Ours has black clay that moves under a slab, summers that chew through a cheap roof, and inspectors who have seen every shortcut there is. Knowing all that is just the job when you are from here.

Why it stays small
Randy started in 1998, worked through the 2008 crash without laying the company down, and never grew it past the point where he could still walk every job himself. There is no sales floor here and no regional manager.
There is a builder, the crews he has used for years, and four grandchildren who are going to inherit whatever reputation he leaves behind. That is the reason the phone gets answered.
